About the position
In this role you will be responsible for part of the extensive Spices portfolio, where the Santa Maria brand has a strong heritage. As the owner of your portfolio your main responsibility will be to ensure that growth and profitability targets are met, by executing on the joint strategy.
You will be responsible for leading innovation projects and initiatives primarily linked to your portfolio. However, as part of a team with strong growth ambitions you will also have the opportunity to work and lead projects across categories. Therefore we believe that you are a strong team player!
As a Portfolio & Concept Manager, you should be a champion of consumer insight, trends and competition to be able to identify opportunities and developing the marketing mix. We will appreciate your strong communication and presentation skills and your ability to create commercial arguments that can help us grow.
This is a permanent position in Mölndal and you will be reporting to Head of Portfolio, World Food and Flavouring. You will also be part of a great dynamic team of people passionated about marketing, concept and portfolio management; focusing on the product categories Spices, BBQ and World Foods.
What you will do
- Lead NPD-projects with cross functional teams (from idea phase to implementation)
- Contribute to the portfolio - and category strategies
- Create range specific plans and roadmaps
- Drive portfolio & concept management (optimization, innovation, value engineering and key initiatives)
- Be the champion of consumer trends, insight and competition within the category/portfolio
- Gather and analyze brand, category and consumer data across markets

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:
- At least 3-7 years’ of experience in roles within brand & portfolio management, preferably from FMCG.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Great cooperation skills, with different function stakeholders
- A can-do attitude and willingness to grow in your position
- An analytical and result-oriented approach in your work
- Experience from setting direction for product development agenda
- Strong business acumen, strategic and result orientation, consumer and customer minded, innovative and collaborative and making things happen kind of attitude
- Strong leadership in own organization and in matrix as well as strong inter-personal skills (ability to listen actively)
- Works well with others and teams, but also self-driven
- Experience from managing a larger product portfolio is a plus
- Fluency in English on a professional level, both verbal and written
- Fluency in written Swedish is a plus
