Ideally, you have experience in go-to-market strategies (e.g., as a Category Manager or Product Manager) and a genuine interest in design and sustainability.
You will be part of the Nordic marketing team, reporting directly to the Nordic Marketing Director. As the Nordic Home Category Manager, you will work closely with the Nordic Marketing and EMEA Product management teams, using your analytical and people skills to drive the categories forward, taking key decisions related to product, marketing, and sales strategy.
About the Role:

You will be instrumental in shaping product offerings and ensuring they align with market needs and Tarkett’s values. Collaborate with key stakeholders such as R&D, Marcom, and Operations to drive consumer-centric innovations that reflect our core values of sustainability and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the segment strategy for wet-room, laminate, and residential vinyl rolls and align it with Nordic product planning.
- Champion consumer-focused product innovation, working closely with R&D, Design, and Operations to ensure alignment with Tarkett’s sustainability and design tone of voice.
- Responsible for the laminate category at the EMEA level, acting as a product expert for day-to-day queries.
- Serve as the category representative in product development projects, providing business case analysis and development insights.
- Plan and execute product launches with the Marcom and Sales teams, ensuring alignment with market routes.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities alongside the Sales Network, including new products and market routes.
- Track and manage business performance, ensure targets are met, and adjust strategies with the sales team as needed.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to maintain category competitiveness.
Your Profile:
- +7 years’ experience as Product / Category manager, with large understanding of all aspects necessary to launch a product in the Nordic Market. Both B2B and B2C.
- Education: Master’s degree in business management or marketing.
- Strong business focus with the ability to develop and execute strategies.
- Analytical mindset with a pragmatic approach to setting priorities and driving execution.
- A collaborative goal-oriented team player who thrives in a friendly, supportive environment.
- Passion for consumer insights, innovation, and a technical interest with an analytical mindset.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to plan, prioritize, and follow through on initiatives.
- High integrity, humble, and a people’s person.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers and executive leadership.
We believe you will thrive in the role if you appreciate a workplace with an international atmosphere and Nordic presence in daily operations and feel strongly connected to Tarkett’s core values: Committed, Caring, Collaborative, and Creative.
